HIV/AIDS Cases Increase In Ghana; Causes Of The Increment Reveals -Check Details.

It is shocking to know that there has been an upsurge in HIV/AIDS cases in Ghana, 2022 and people are still adamant.

Why has there been such increment, and what are the causes or cause of the increment of HIV/AIDS in Ghana?

The answer to the above question is simple, as authority has revealed why the Country in recent times have seen cases of HIV/AIDS increased.

According to the President of the Ghana HIV and AIDS Network (GHANET), couple must learn to be faithful with their partners.

He also asked youth to abstain from engaging in adult-games until they are married, and that it is meant for adults who are married.

According to Mr. Ernest Amoaben Ostin: “If you are not ready for sex, abstain from it; it is for adults and married people. If you are married too, be faithful to yourself and your partner. Do not use a sharp object someone has used and when you go to the hospital and they want to give you blood, make sure it has been thoroughly tested,” he advised.

He stressed that, in 2022 alone, there were 33,000 new cases between January to September. The aforementioned figure, he indicated, was higher than that of the previous years’.

In previous years, new cases were 18,000 or 19,000 a year, but for the first nine months of 2022, the new cases shot up.

Per the information gathered from other sources indicated that, aside couples not being faithful, youth engaging in premarital affairs, Hookup girls business is the new reason the cases of HIV/AIDS increased in Ghana in the 2022.
